Not a dry eye in Southern Alberta today..

Sorry.  I know this blog has suffered over the last few days, but I've really had nothing to say.  Barn Cat Mansion is nestled high on a hillside just beyond what you see here, so we're safe and dry.  Seventeen miles north, an entire town, population 13000 is under water.  They're calling it "Alberta Floods 2013".  The devastation is indescribable....

  1. We've been thinking of our Canadian friends as well as those here in the States who are devastated by floods. Mommy was in a flood when she was young, and definitely remembers the horrors (and the smells of rot afterwards in the fields and the farmyards). We're praying for everyone all over. Glad your sweet family is okay.
