A cat of a different color.....

At first glance, you might say Timbit is a Siamese cat.  After all, look at the creamy coat and blue eyes.

With the second glance, you could say she's a tabby.  After all, she has lots of stripes.  If you look real close, even the creamy coat has subtle stripes hidden within the beauty of it all.

The only thing we can say for sure is that she is

unique.

Her dark tail is truly amazing.  Perhaps that's what makes her so remarkable!

Is there a name for this color pattern?

  1. I would think she is a Siamese/Tabby mix. The dark tail is very prominent in the Sealpoint Siamese and tabby cats are often found in barns so it is probable that this is a mix. Could go back generations which would explain why you haven't seen any Siamese wandering around lately. Whatever she is....WOW!

  2. If I lived closer, I would say she is mine. Beautiful. You have such wonderful residents at Barn Car Mansion.

  3. Timbit is simply stunning! I love "mutt" cats. She seems to have inherited all of the most attractive markings from everyone in her family tree!

  4. BTW, is Timbit one of Sid's kittens? The kitten featured recently as part of Sid's family of four reminds me a bit of Timbit's markings... although Timbit has those amazing eyes.

    1. Nope! Timbit belongs to a brown cat at Fox Farm and Socks is her dad. That's where she gets the fancy stripes. I don't know if you remember Suckee, but she's the mother of Socks and is a crossbred Siamese.
