Secret Mission
is taking its toll on Bumble's usually calm demeanor. Leaving Barn Cat Mansion for any length of time is difficult, but the fear of never coming back is downright scary. Some of these missions are dangerous. Travelling in a cat carrier in the back of an open truck bed is terrifying. Not knowing where you're going and having no idea how to get back home can be devastating.
Will he take the assignment?......Will common sense prevail?.....Or will plain old "instinct" rule the day...
Bumble Butt? Sure hope if he takes the assignment, he has a safe return.

ReplyDeleteWe also vote for the common sense route. We hate to think of you riding around in the back of a pickup. You sure are a handsome boy Bumble Butt. I see that your Mom rides horses. Our Mom used to ride and teach riding and boarded horses. Not any more though, she is older than dirt. Now she just has a whole bunch of cats. Good to meet you.
ReplyDeleteReally, your mom can't be older than dirt!! We have lots of horses here at the Mansion and it seems they always want to step on us. Maybe we shoud stop sharpening our claws on their legs!!?

DeleteNice to meet all of you friendly people....I mean "cats" This story started 2 years ago when I posted pictures of my barn cats on Facebook. It was a cold winter, and every time I went to the barn, the 12 or 14 cats were doing something "photo worthy". I put a caption to the pictures and Facebook friends picked up on the story line. I was sure I'd run out of ideas, but so far, something comes to me with each photo I post. Catching up to the other story will take a while. Happy to have you tag along....

Sorry, barn cats at Barn Cat Mansion and Fox Farm do their own fur, claws, hair mats and even hair balls! We only help them with food and deworming. Thanks for the help from you and Ozzy. Maybe Ozzy will be featured in an upcoming episode.....that is if he isn't a house cat.
